How may I assist you

In RPIC-ViP s.r.o. I have been working since its establishment in 1999 focusing on finance, marketing, start-up consultancy and training in those fields. From 2000 until 2008 I have been responsible for coordination as well as providing training within the tailored-made investment and development program for start-ups called START implemented by Regional Consultancy and Information Centre for Entrepreneurs. More than a hundred new entrepreneurs started their own business thanks to this programme.

What makes me satisfied in my work

From the very beginning of the cohesion policy implementation in the Czech Republic, I assist my business partners as well as municipalities in searching investment opportunities, designing development plans, their implementation and project management. I apply my analytical skills while preparing financial and economic analyses which are the core of all investment projects to increase the competitiveness of the companies or to support employability.

What I am proud of

I prefer providing project management consultancy in full complexity and for the whole project lifecycle in close cooperation with the sponsor. I am very proud of my work while looking back and see advanced technology being used in the companies, revitalized business infrastructure or renovated public buildings, schools or public places.

How may I assist you  

In my professional career since the early 1990s, I have been focusing on regional development projects.  I have been involved in designing of the development strategies for cities, municipalities and regions, including the preparation of analytical documents, strategic solutions and project proposals. Besides the area of strategic regional planning, I also focus on services for businesses and industry associations in the area of grant and subsidy counselling for investment projects.

What makes me satisfied in my work

I enjoy working with data, analysing it in context, looking for context and finding solutions where they are not obvious at first glance. I like to collaborate on the realization of technological projects.

What I am proud of

At present, I am particularly interested in analytical and research activities in the area of the regional labour market and its prediction. I am a senior expert of the Regional Platform of the Moravian-Silesian Region for the nation-wide Kompas project, which builds a sustainable system of labour market forecasting and future skills needs.

What makes me satisfied in my work

I am always keen on working on projects with impact you can really “feel” in your everyday life increasing the life quality of the project end users or simply bringing the real change. Enjoying to listen, analyse and develop ideas of clients or partners and turning them to the projects, or even more likely, activities put into practice. With no fear of team coordination and various interests or approaches within the project partnership bringing together, neither of taking responsibility for the outcomes.   

What I am proud of

Among experiences that can be hardly forgotten and that follow me in my work, can be named the cooperation on actual Ostrava City Strategic Development Plan (fajnOva) or on National Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Czech Republic, above all because of meeting people who brought their best from them own to the both planning processes on the way to the common goals. Cooperation with international partners on dozens of international projects has helped me to broaden my comfort zone and overcome the barriers in thinking.  Coordination of survey in 21 European countries with hundreds of respondents within the European Commission tender implementation called Transferability of Skills across Economic Sectors: Role and Importance for Employment at European Level and meeting all national coordinators personally in Prague first time after 7 months long communication and thousands of e-mails exchanged, has been wonderful experience.

How may I assist you

For many years I have been a professional consultant in economics, business, accounting and taxation, I have long-term experience with double-entry bookkeeping and tax records. I am financial manager, consultant and accountant of the company RPIC-ViP ensuring protection of the company’s interests against external risks, legislative and financial security, company cost optimization as well as management of information system. I participate in the preparation, implementation, financial management and administration of projects funded from European sources within national and international programs – Phare, EQUAL, Lifelong Learning Program, ERASMUS +. I have been certified both as Accounting and Tax Specialist and Tax Specialist and Payroll Accountant by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

What makes me satisfied in my work

When I manage to bring order, create systems, and use economic information to better operation and management of business. Also when I make the conditions to implement the projects as comfort as possible and enable my colleagues to focus mainly on the performance and meeting needs of clients and partners.

In these areas I have managed dozens of successful projects in the Czech Republic and many EU Members States. 2001 – 2005: development and management of the outplacement program to support restructuring of the Czech steel industry; services to more than 10,000 people

2003 – 2004:  strategic consulting to prepare the Czech Republic for absorption of EU structural funds within the international team of consultants implementing the „AbCap – Finalizing of Structures and Measures to Increase and Absorption Capacity on the National and Regional Levels” project.

2002 – 2017 cont.: R&D and application of programs to measure and develop transversal soft skills in the initial education and lifelong learning. Our programs have been transferred and adapted to a majority of EU Member States and more than 50,000 people from child to senior age enjoyed our trainings.

2009 – 2011: strategic consulting and management of the “Transferability of skills across economic sectors in Europe” study for DG Employment of the European Commission.

2012 – 2017 cont.: development and application of the „Powerful Workplace“ program to measure and develop organization culture in which people can, want and know-how to perform their best.

2011 – 2017 cont.: initiation of the Territorial Employment Pacts in the Czech Republic as a good practice transfer from Austria and inspiration from OECD LEED Forum on Partnerships and local development.

2013 – 2015: strategic consulting and facilitation of the process to develop National and Regional RIS3 strategies in the Czech Republic.

2005 – 2016: strategic consulting and facilitation of the process to develop and upgrade Vision and Strategy of Ostrava City (3rd largest city in the Czech Republic) in 3 consecutive phases (2005, 2008, 2016).

What I am proud of

Participating on managing the successful international academic conference Career+ had become a valuable experience for me. I use the experience while preparing annual RPIC-ViP conference for HR professionals and managers – latest topic was the development of corporate culture and talent development. Very exceptional experience was a participation on defining the Strategic development plan of Ostrava City for the time period of 2017 – 2023. The process was quite unique with its variety of communication activities and opportunity to involve a large amount of citizens, which we have interviewed about their visions of the city in 2030. Ostrava has obtained a “City of good practice of international URBACT net” title for the process of Strategic development plan preparation.

What makes me satisfied in my work

I have successfully implemented management systems in more than 35 companies. I have been returning to many clients for many years not only as an internal auditor, but also as a consultant or lecturer in follow-up services. During that time, I have really built up exceptional relationships with these companies, and in many cases I feel to be almost part of them. It is a pleasure for me to have contributed to their development.

Changing a company culture is similar to buying a new suit. Firstly I will help you define the good result (SOFTSKILLERS, POWERFUL WORKPLACE Assessment), then we will sew: that is to coach, educate or define the processes, and in the end we will re-measure again, to check the quality of the result.

What makes me satisfied in my work

First months after I joined RPIC-ViP I felt that I was rather visiting a spa, not a workplace, despite the culture of high productivity! The company culture was so inspiring and motivating, that we were achieving difficult goals without even realising that we work so hard. I have read lot of professional literature and went through thousands hours of interactive trainings, workshops and coaching since then. Now I am happy I can pass the experience to other companies.

What I am proud of

We have delivered more than one hundred of POWERFUL WORKPLACE Assessments in cooperation with our partners (TREXIMA). I myself was managing about 30 of the projects alone. I am very happy that those 15 easy question can start very deep discussion and change in teams and organisations. Furthermore, all those positive changes are measurable, not only with our survey, but also with hard index of effectiveness, productivity or financial results.

How may I assist you

I focus mainly on the development of soft skills, where I apply the methodology of experience pedagogy, as well as the “learning by doing” principle. You will meet me especially in situations where you want to strengthen team bonds or improve internal communication. In addition, I deal with the development of personality with the help of the typology MBTI, mentoring in presentation skills, methodology of adult education and the career consultancy. I have experience with different target groups, from corporate teams and pedagogical staff, through high school students to short-term and long-term unemployed.

What makes me satisfied in my work

I like to share our experience with the development of soft skills with like-minded people who realize that education can be made in entertaining and gripping way and still have a real impact. It fulfils me to work with people who are accessible or open to change, and as a challenge I take the work with people who needs to show that the change is normal. Although my work may seem to many people as a fun or game, it is also a big responsibility. I am always delighted to discuss the experiences with the participants and that they are able to draw lessons from this experience into everyday life.

What I am proud of

I appreciate the opportunity to participate in international projects, in teams that, despite the differences and cultural differences, can find the best solution for all. Every year I like to go back to VŠB-TU Ostrava, where I have the opportunity to work the whole semester with groups of students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and to help them develop their “Competencies for the Labor Market”.

Since 2002, I have been working as a consultant, lecturer, contract manager and project administrator and for more than a decade I have been involved in the preparation, implementation and administration of EU-funded projects (e.g. Competences for the Labour Market, People make the difference, Start a career with employers in the MS Region). I have a wealth of experience in organizational, administrative and operational provision of the company.

I appreciate the variety of activities I can do – from preparing the training room to organizing an international conference for 150 participants, the possibility of professional and personal development, I enjoy working and communicating with clients / partners and dealing with countless complicated situations and tasks.

What I am proud of

In the past I was providing consultancy to the unemployed people within the Regional Employee Agency and I was leading motivational courses and effective job search techniques courses. Thanks to this, I have gained valuable lecturing experiences in the field of the soft skills such as problem solving, stress resistance, planning and organization, communication skills for specific groups of people (long-term unemployed people, school graduates, and mothers on maternity leave or returning from ML).
